Non destructive testing uses non-invasive inspection techniques used to evaluate materials property, locating defects and determining features of defects such as size, shape and orientation. The purpose of NDT is to inspect a component in safe, reliable and cost effective manner without causing damage to the component. 

 

The field of Non Destructive Testing is a very broad field that plays a critical role in the industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Construction, Power, Heavy machinery etc.

ANTC NDT program includes training and certification as per ASNT recommended practice no. SNT-TC-1A which includes Theory, Mockups and Practical.

 

ANTC conducts level II programs for the following methods:-

 

  1. Visual testing.

  2. Penetrant testing

  3. Magnetic Particle Testing.

  4. Ultrasonic Testing.

  5. Radiography Testing.

 

Documents required: -

  1. 6 recent photographs (Passport Size).

  2.  Xerox copy of higher education certificate (Diploma/Btech/Mtech).

  3. Xerox copy of tenth

  4. Vision certificate (Eye Test Form)

  5. Resume
